The Eyes on Africa Team Nevenka, Roman and their daughter Anna have been in East Africa for half a decade. Their continued travels throughout the region, by 4 x 4, on foot and by bicycle, in addition to their time spent living in Maasai villages, give them the breadth of knowledge to host and guide you on your unique and intimate safari.Africa is our home now. It has shown us its wonders, beauty, communities and animals. Like sharing good wine with friends, our family would like to share Africa and our experiences with you. We feel three distinct qualities make your safari unique. These are qualities that we strive for perfection on. They are intimacy, wisdom and last but not least, security. Let me explain…. Intimacy Africa is a continent of relationships, relationships between diverse communities, relationships between animals and relationships between communities and animals. There is no better way to feel these relationships than to experience Africa in intimate surroundings, in the quiet, peaceful wilderness – whether you are camping or lodging. We hand pick settings where you will be immersed in the intimacy of Africa, where you will feel these relationships as the essence of Africa. Wisdom The Maasai people have lived within the balanced network of the environment for millennium. This wisdom is past on from generation to generation and is revealed to you through the stories and descriptions of our Maasai guides – all of whom were born in the Masai Mara region of Kenya.Security Having lived in Africa for years, the issues of security have been well thought through. Our vehicles are equipped with radios and we carry Flying Doctors medical insurance to fly emergency cases out of even the most remote locations. Lodges and campsites are carefully selected, water is bottled and carried with the vehicle and all staff and chefs are trained in safety procedures and medical emergencies. However, it is important to note that when following just some simple, reasonable safety guidelines, most accidents and other incidences can be avoided. Please join us and visit the East African region. These countries have so much to offer the traveler and we would like the opportunity to share our family and experiences with you.
